If your item is eligible* for return, you have up to 30 days from the delivery date to send it back. Start by completing our Return Form.
*Products must be unused, in original condition, and ideally in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Kamik offers a one-year limited warranty on manufacturing defects. If your boots were purchased within the last 12 months and show signs of a defect, please visit our Contact page to access the Warranty Form and submit your request with photos of the issue.
If your claim is approved, our team will contact you and your pair will be replaced with the same or a comparable style. Please note that we do not offer exchanges (sizes, color, model) for warranty claims. For more information, see our Warranty page.
Kamik footwear fits true to size for both kids and adults, so we recommend starting with your usual size. If you’re between sizes or plan to wear thicker socks (especially with winter boots), consider sizing up for added comfort.
You can measure at home to ensure the best fit:
- Place your or your child’s heel against a wall on a sheet of paper.
- Mark the tip of the longest toe and measure the distance from heel to toe.
- Repeat for both feet and use the larger measurement.

Finding the right size helps ensure your Kamik footwear feels secure, comfortable, and ready for every adventure.
Kamik boots are designed to be waterproof, with seam-sealed construction and waterproof materials such as synthetic rubber and waterproof suede.
To maintain their waterproof integrity:
- Clean regularly using warm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry away from direct heat.
- Do not machine wash, as this may damage the waterproof materials and construction.
- Inspect regularly for signs of wear or damage to the waterproofing. Please note that applying a waterproofing treatment within one year of purchase will void the Kamik warranty on these boots.
By following these tips, you can help ensure your Kamik boots stay waterproof and perform well in wet weather.
Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. As soon as your package ships, UPS will send you tracking emails so you can follow your shipment.
You can also track your order directly on the UPS website using the tracking number provided in these emails.

Orders & Payment
Once your order is placed on us.kamik.com, it begins processing right away, which means we can’t always guarantee cancellations or changes.
- Need to cancel or update your order? If it hasn’t shipped yet, reach out quickly through our Contact Us form, and we’ll do our best to help.
- Wrong shipping address? Contact us as soon as possible. If the order is still at our warehouse, we’ll try to update it. If it’s already on the way, rerouting may be possible but isn’t guaranteed.
- Order already shipped? You can return it once delivered following our Return Policy, and place a new order with the correct details.
On us.kamik.com, sale or promotional items are clearly marked with a special tag showing the discount or promotion. You can also check our Sale page to view all discounted products. Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter for exclusive offers and updates on upcoming sales.
We don’t have a Kamik retail store, but you can shop our products directly on us.kamik.com. You’ll also find them through many authorized retailers, both online and in-store.

Currently, us.kamik.com does not allow backorders on out-of-stock items. When a product is unavailable, you can sign up on the product page to receive notifications once it becomes available again. Check our website regularly for restocks and new products.
On us.kamik.com, you can pay using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Shop Pay. Your payment will be processed securely.
For purchases shipped within the U.S., sales tax applies based on U.S. state tax laws and your shipping address. During checkout on us.kamik.com, all applicable sales tax is calculated automatically depending on the destination. We collect and remit the tax according to state regulations, so the correct amount is shown before you pay.
If you believe the tax rate you are charged is incorrect, please contact us so we can assist you.
Multiple charges may appear due to a temporary authorization hold from your payment provider. This is normal and usually clears within a few business days. If you notice more than one finalized charge, contact your bank and get in touch with us using our contact form.
Shipping & Returns
Yes! Kamik offers free standard shipping on orders over $99.99 within the contiguous United States. Please note that shipping is currently not available for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territories. For more details, visit our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Orders below $99 ship for $8.
Once your order is placed on us.kamik.com, our team works quickly to prepare it for shipment. Orders are typically ready to ship within 2–3 business days. All shipments in the U.S. are sent via UPS ground service. Transit times are approximate and not guaranteed.

us.kamik.com ships only within the United States. We do not accept orders from outside the U.S. on our American site. If you are in Canada, please visit our Canadian website at kamik.com for orders and shipping. For customers outside North America, please check with local retailers or distributors. Within the United States: us.kamik.com ships standard ground orders via UPS. Shipping is free on orders over $99.99, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories. Shipping fees apply for orders below this amount.
Our U.S. site ships only within the 48 contiguous states to physical addresses. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, or international destinations at this time.

If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase from us.kamik.com, you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery. To start the process, please fill out our Return Form.
Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging. Please note: return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Products purchased from a retail store must be returned to the original place of purchase, following that store’s return policy. Kamik only accepts returns for items bought directly from us.kamik.com.
If your item is defective and within our 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, we will gladly replace it — please note that we do not offer refunds for warranty claims. For more details, visit our Return Policy.
After receiving and inspecting your returned item, refunds are usually processed up to 14 business days. Refunds will be sent to the original payment method. You will get a confirmation email when the refund is completed. For more information, see our Return Policy.
At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges for online purchases. If you need a different size, color, or style, please submit a return using our Return Form, then place a new order at your convenience.
Returned items must be in original condition and meet the criteria in our Return Policy.

Warranty
Kamik stands behind the quality of its products and offers a limited one-year warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the delivery date. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or product modifications.
If you need to submit a claim in the U.S.:
- Purchased from a retailer? Start by contacting the store or online retailer where you made your purchase. Many of our retail partners manage warranty claims directly.
- Purchased from us.kamik.com? Complete the Defective form on our Contact Us page using your Kamik.com order number (starting with GFA-xxxxx).
- Please include your purchase receipt, a description of the problem, and clear photos of the defect. Our team reviews claims and typically responds within 24 hours.Please expect a longer than usual response time during the busy periods from November to January.
Your order number is included in the confirmation email you received after ordering from us.kamik.com. It typically begins with “GFA-*****” and appears at the top of the email. If you don’t see it, log into your account to check your order history or contact us via our contact form.
Kamik does not provide in-house repair services. If your Kamik footwear is defective, please reach out through our contact form with your order number, a description of the problem, and photos. We will assist you with the warranty process. For repairs not covered by warranty, consider contacting a local cobbler or professional repair service.
Use & Care
Here’s how to safely eliminate unpleasant odors from Kamik footwear:
- Clean the surface using a cloth and mild soap to remove any residue.
- Use a vinegar solution (1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water) to neutralize odors.
- Gently scrub the interior with a soft brush or cloth dipped in the solution.
- Let them dry naturally in a well-aired area, avoiding heat sources.
- For extra freshness, sprinkle baking soda inside overnight and discard the next day.
Following these steps will help restore freshness to your child’s shoes.
We strongly advise against using aftermarket waterproofing sprays or treatments. These products may compromise the original materials and will void your Kamik warranty (https://us.kamik.com/pages/warranty).
Kamik footwear is waterproof as is—no additional treatment is required for protection.
For best results, clean your Kamik footwear in these steps:
- Wipe with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris.
- Use a mild, pH-neutral soap to gently clean the surface.
- Rinse lightly with a clean damp cloth if needed.
- Allow to air dry at room temperature, away from heaters or dryers.
Do not machine wash or tumble dry your Kamik footwear, and avoid exposing it to direct heat.
Small scuff marks on leather can usually be fixed with basic at-home care:
- Wipe the scuffed area with a soft, damp cloth.
- Apply a leather polish or conditioner that matches the color.
- Gently rub in circles until the scuff blends in.
- Let it dry naturally before wearing again.
- Don’t use harsh cleaners that may dry out or crack the leather.

Our liners are designed for specific boot styles. For the best fit and comfort, it’s important to choose the liner that matches the style you purchased. If you’re not sure which one you need, simply send us a picture of your boots and we’ll be happy to help you find the perfect match for a fresh start.
If your Kamik boots or shoes are coming apart at the sole, you may be eligible for a warranty review.

To improve function temporarily, try brushing out lint and buildup with a toothbrush or small comb.
Pilling happens when soft fabrics rub against other surfaces. Here’s how to fix it:
- Carefully use a lint remover or fabric shaver to remove fuzz.
- Don’t pick at the fabric, as it can lead to further damage.
- Store your shoes in a dry space and avoid rough contact when possible.

We offer a Recycling Program for more than 20 Kamik footwear models. To check if your boots qualify, please visit our Recycling Program.
If your product is eligible, you’ll be asked to submit a request with the product name, a photo, and your shipping address.
If your boots aren’t part of the program, we recommend other ways to give your worn footwear a responsible second life:
- Check with local recycling centers for shoe drop-off programs.
- Some major retailers offer in-store shoe recycling or donation bins.
- If your boots are still usable, consider donating them to local organizations in need.
At this time, the program is limited to Kamik-branded products.
Absolutely. Many Kamik sandals are built for water play and light aquatic activities.
With quick-dry linings and water-resistant materials, they’re great for splashing around or going from land to lake.
Be sure to let them dry thoroughly in the open air between wears. You can also check the water-friendly features specific to each style.
If your favorite Kamik style is missing from us.kamik.com, it might be temporarily out of stock or no longer in production.

EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) and PU (polyurethane) serve different purposes in footwear design:
